* Dependent: Spouse or family member of Active Duty military member, DoD Civilian, DoD Contractor, or Career Program NAF employee. If a Dependent child, must be under 21 years of age UNLESS they are enrolled in school full-time in which case they must be under 23 years of age.
* Ordinarily Resident: A person becomes ordinarily resident when they have lived in the UK without base affiliation (Dependent status, employment on base paid in USD) for 366 days or more. Time spent in the UK as a member of the US Visiting Forces or as a US Government employee or as a dependent of either does not count toward becoming ordinarily resident. In addition, time spent in the UK as an employee (or dependent of an employee) of a US agency serving with and supporting the US Visiting Forces does not count towards becoming ordinarily resident. Such agencies include the American Red Cross, one of the contract universities, a military banking facility or federal credit union, or a U.S. Government contractor.
